Offer Description
The University of Alicante invites applications for a research staff position (open-ended contract, job category: PhD junior researcher) to participate in a funded research project titled "Ecological and molecular controls of metabolic activity in microbial interactions driving ecosystem-wide methane cycling" (Reference: I-PI 38-25).

* Hold or be in the process of obtaining a PhD (Spanish MECES level 4 or EQF level 8).
* Hold or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Biotechnology Applied to Health and Sustainability or equivalent.
* Have a document confirming official approval or statement of comparability for overseas qualifications.
* Proficiency in English at C1 level.
* Be a Spanish national or meet specific legal residency criteria.
* Be at least 16 years old and not exceed retirement age.
* Possess necessary physical and mental capacities, certified by medical examination.
* Not have been dismissed or disqualified from public service.
