We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to take ownership of HV and sub-station commissioning activities on a large-scale data centre project in Spain.
You will have strong high-voltage / grid-connection bias, and you must have proven experience leading commissioning activities within data centre or mission-critical environments.
This is an initial 6-month contract, starting 9th February, and interviews happening ASAP.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the planning, execution, and documentation of HV and sub-station commissioning activities.
* Managing interface commissioning between grid connection, substations, and downstream electrical infrastructure.
* Ensuring full compliance with client specifications, local grid requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
What we’re looking for
* Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager on data centre, HV, or critical infrastructure projects.
* Strong expertise in HV systems, including substations, transformers, protection & control, switchgear, and grid interfaces.
* Understanding of how HV and substation systems integrate with data centre electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, LV distribution).
This role offers a Monday to Friday working pattern and would suit someone based in Spain or able to travel easily to site.
