We collaborate across stations and functions, ensuring easyJet's standards and objectives are achieved through strong partnerships and effective communication.The RoleAs Ground Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing, overseeing, and delivering safe practices and procedures across your assigned area.
You'll drive performance excellence, maintain cost control, and ensure a consistent customer experience by:Implementing and maintaining safety and standards management processes, proactively identifying trends and correcting deficienciesDeveloping robust communication with third-party suppliers and documenting reports for audit purposesWorking cross-functionally at station level to achieve easyJet standards and objectivesDelivering improvements and solutions at underperforming stations, reporting operational issues, and liaising with procurement teams for successful commercial outcomesSpending time out in the network to ensure delivery of the easyJet product and positive relationships with suppliersEnsuring ground handlers communicate effectively during disruption, meeting legal requirements and protecting the brandManaging and influencing airports and ground handling providers to meet regulatory requirements and contractual service levelsLeading local business disruption teams as appropriateRequirements of the RoleWhat we're looking forExperience of operations management, ideally gained in an airline or similar passenger transport/logistics environmentCompetence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience managing budgets and supplier relationshipsAbility to drive organisational and cultural change within a unionised environmentTenacity and resilience in a fast-paced, demanding operational environmentPassion for continuous improvementHigh degree of personal and professional flexibilityProven influencing and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage and prioritise multiple stations.Practicalities7 month fixed term contract role will be based in Barcelona working 40 hours per week.ApplyApply via our careers page.At easyJet, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that reflects the diverse customers we serve across Europe.
