Job Description
In this role, you work closely with remote teams in a global environment. You are responsible for financial management and analysis, purchase order management, and IT cost control and optimization.
1. Manage essential controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, year-end closing, accrual processes, and financial reporting in collaboration with your team.
2. Support strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights with tools such as Power BI or SAP.
3. Manage the creation, validation, and monitoring of purchase orders in our purchasing tool.
4. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and keep alignment with budgetary goals.
5. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within IT operations, balancing efficiency with financial responsibility.
6. Provide support in related fields such as License Management, Project Controlling, and more.
Qualifications
* Completed university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* First experience in financial controlling, ideally in an IT or technology-focused environment.
* Practical expertise with tools like Power BI, SAP, and other reporting or analytics platforms. Experience with Jaggaer is a plus.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, embrace challenges, and manage diverse tasks confidently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform the described tasks accurately.
* Solid teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with remote teams in an international setting.
* Very good written and spoken English skills are essential. German language skills are a plus.
