Regional Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for expanding Rain Bird’s Golf sales and market share across the Iberica, France, Italy, Turkey, Eastern Europe South, North Africa, and Central Asia regions.Our European Golf sales team focuses on delivering solution-based sales, offering customized irrigation solutions to golf course owners, directors, and managers. You and your team will drive sales efforts by collaborating with golf course architects, irrigation consultants, and contractors, utilizing our extensive distribution network.ResponsibilitiesAchieve and surpass ambitious sales and market share targets.Lead and develop the South Europe golf sales team.Support the development of tactical actions and oversee their execution to align with corporate objectives.Develop and manage the distribution network, including key distribution partners.Identify new business opportunities and manage key projects directly.Build and maintain long-term relationships with key golf course customers and industry stakeholders.Monitor and report on sales performance, customer trends, market analysis, pricing, and competition.Collaborate effectively with sales, service, and operations teams to meet organizational goals.This role is based in Spain and requires approximately 50% regional travel to visit clients and partners, with occasional travel outside the region.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
8+ years of international sales and business development experience.Bachelor’s degree with experience managing sales and business units.Proficiency in English for reporting and presentations.A proven track record of achieving sales goals and demonstrating progressive responsibility.Strong experience in distribution management.Supervisory experience with geographically dispersed teams and developing individuals for higher responsibilities.Ability to achieve results both individually and through team leadership.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills, with a strategic and analytical approach to decision-making.Fluent in Spanish and French.Desired Qualifications:
