Your Role:
As Head of Finance, you will lead the global financial strategy, operations, and compliance for a high-growth fintech organization. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to scale operations, ensure financial health, and enable long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
* Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with expansion goals in the U.S. and Europe
* Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and risk
* Oversee audits, tax strategy, and ensure full regulatory compliance across regions
Financial Planning & Analysis
* Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across revenue streams
* Monitor and optimize financial KPIs, including processing costs and customer profitability
* Identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting continued growth
Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure adherence to relevant regulations:
PSD2, PCI DSS, DORA, SOX, and U.S. reporting standards
* Implement robust internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
* Advise on legal, cross-border, and Private Equity compliance matters
Capital & Fundraising Strategy
* Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
* Support equity and debt fundraising efforts and maintain investor relations
* Build strong banking and financial partnerships
Vendor & Partner Relations
* Collaborate with product and partnerships teams on vendor negotiations and financial terms
* Represent the company in strategic financial conversations with external stakeholders
Requirements
* 10+ years in financial leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or SaaS
* Experience scaling companies in the U.S. and European markets
* Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and cross-border regulatory environments
* Knowledge of payment ecosystems, transaction flows, and revenue optimization models
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
* Fluent in English;
Spanish is a plus
