We are looking for a motivated colleague to join us in exciting and international projects in our global Engineering team.
Your Tasks
As a member of our international team, you will undertake several development and data analysis tasks for our electrical yaw system. The system includes a frequency converter that controls multiple electro-mechanical drives to turn the nacelle.
In Detail, This Includes Among Others The Following Tasks
* Analyze field data to verify the correct behavior of the yaw system
* Collaborate in cross-functional teams to discuss and define yaw system requirements and compile them into functional specifications
* Clarify technical details and create software specifications
* Implement software functions according to requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC)
* Specify, perform, evaluate, and document tests for the yaw system at component, system, and turbine levels
* Create related functional and software documentation
Your Profile
* M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification
* Professional experience in PLC software development, e.g., structured text and SCL (Siemens)
* Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is advantageous
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Spanish and/or German is helpful
* Well-structured, autonomous work style with a solution-oriented mindset, accuracy, and efficiency
* Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional, global, and diverse teams
* Willingness to travel to test benches up to 10% of the time on average
