The Role: We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer to join a growing space systems team working on next-generation satellite hardware. In this role, you’ll design, test, and support electronic systems used across payloads and avionics, contributing across the full product lifecycle, from early concept and prototyping through to integration, testing, and in-orbit performance.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and taking real ownership of hardware in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
What You’ll Be Doing Design board-level electronics for satellite systems and RF-related hardware, with a focus on power and control circuits Carry out testing and validation to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with mission requirements Produce and maintain documentation including schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures Troubleshoot issues across the full lifecycle, from design and prototyping through to manufacturing and operation Collaborate closely with RF, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure system integration Support continuous improvement of design practices, testing approaches, and system performance
Requirements Essential: Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar, with solid experience in analog and digital electronics Experience designing circuits such as low-noise power supplies, timing systems, or control electronics Background in aerospace, defence, or other high-reliability environments (or similar level of complexity) Understanding of high-speed design constraints Knowledge of EMI/EMC and noise mitigation techniques Basic understanding of RF concepts and interaction with digital/analog systems
Nice to have: Experience with space hardware or environmental testing (thermal, vibration, radiation) Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, etc.) Exposure to embedded systems or microcontroller-based designs Experience with root cause analysis and hardware debugging
