unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems. We are looking for a
Mechanical Engineer
whose primary role will involve developing and researching defense systems, from the preliminary phase to industrialization.
Tasks to be performed:
Mechanical design and creation of manufacturing drawings
Bill of materials (BOM) and checklist oversight
Selection of commercial components
Development of design documentationSupervision of manufacturing, assembly and commissioning
Creation of test plans, assistance and supervision of system tests
Required Education and Skills:
University degree /master’s in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Aeronautics or similar.
Additional Training/Qualifications:
Advanced English is essential.
Specific Knowledge:
Solidworks or other similar CAD programs.
Knowledge of Composite Materials.
Design of flight parts for multirotors and low-weight fixed wing aircrafts.
Knowledge of electronics and use of equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. will be valued.
Knowledge of project management will be valued.
Knowledge of the defense sector and defense regulations for design and testing MIL-STD, STANAG will be valued.
Minimum Required Experience:
2 - 5 years of experience.
Previous experience in UAVs, acquired from work or hobbies.
Desirable previous experience in the defence sector.
This position is located in our office in
Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) .
