Your Challenge
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps engineer to operate and develop Nimbus, our cutting-edge cloud development platform. Nimbus serves as the backbone of our development infrastructure, enabling teams to design, build, test, and deploy applications efficiently. Our focus is exclusively on supporting LGT Private Bank group with a reliable and highly functional infrastructure.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong background in Platform Engineering, Cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices. Experience with containerization, orchestration tools, and scripting languages is essential. A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to collaborate effectively with product development teams are crucial. Required Skills and Experience:
* 5+ years in platform engineering or a similar role
* Strong experience with Azure (AKS), AWS, or GCP
* Proficiency in container orchestration and Kubernetes administration
* Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure orchestration
* Ability to develop custom Kubernetes operators using Kubebuilder
* Knowledge of policy engines (Kyverno, OPA Gatekeeper)
* Experience with secret management solutions (External Secrets, Azure Key Vault, CSI drivers)
* Hands-on experience with CNI plugins and network configurations
* Expertise in ingress/egress controllers
* Scaled observability with OpenTelemetry, Mesh, and eBPF tooling
* Strong programming skills in Golang for backend services
* Advanced knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and GitOps practices
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Infrastructure from Code (IfC)
* Understanding of container security and network policies
* English fluency (business level)
The role offers a hybrid work model with at least 2 days of in-office presence per week.
