Retech Program Manager
Lead the establishment, operation and strategic development of a cybersecurity evaluation lab focused on IoT and Artificial Intelligence security. This role combines a technical background in cybersecurity, project management and a strong focus on business development, ecosystem engagement, and partnership building across industry, academia, and public institutions. You will bring a strong background in advanced security techniques applied to hardware-based processes and products, and a passion for driving innovation in cybersecurity and microelectronics.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic positioning of the center of excellence in IoT and AI security testing, evaluation, and certification.
* Define and execute a business development roadmap to attract clients, collaborators, and funding opportunities.
* Ensure alignment with national and European cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and best practices.
* Revision of evaluation results and verification of technical reports.
* Surveillance and monitoring activities related to subcontractors.
* Technical & Operational Management:
* Supervise cybersecurity evaluation and certification processes, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, compliance auditing (ENS, IEC 60601-4-5, CPSTIC), and security validation of AI solutions.
* Implement and oversee secure testing environments for IoT devices and AI-driven applications.
* Manage laboratory resources, infrastructure and technical staff.
* Research & Development:
* Lead and contribute to R&D projects in cybersecurity, particularly in hardware-based security, cryptographic techniques, and AI security.
* Collaborate with national and international research institutions, government bodies, and private sector entities to drive innovation.
* Research vulnerabilities related to IT solutions under evaluation.
* Industry & Academic Collaboration:
* Establish partnerships with universities, research centers, industry leaders, and government agencies.
* Promote knowledge transfer activities, training programs, and public-private collaborations.
* Support the digital transformation of Andalusian industries through cybersecurity initiatives.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in project management or cybersecurity leadership roles.
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent.
* Expertise in penetration testing, hardware security, network security, and AI-driven cybersecurity risks.
* Aptitude for teamwork. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate technical projects.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Preferred Requirements
* Experience in relationship management for creating synergies with companies, research centers, and universities, and transforming industry needs into R&D proposals.
* PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent.
* Pen-testing projects development experience and adaptation to the National Security Scheme.
* Cybersecurity certifications (CompTIA, ISCA, ISC2, OCSP…).
* Digital security strategies definition and cybersecurity applied R&D teams’ coordination.
* Awareness on computer architecture concepts, including cache mechanisms, memory hierarchical structures and communication protocols.
