Overview
We are looking for a Transformation & Performance Manager to join our Maintenance Supplier Management team. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance Supplier Management, this role is critical to supporting Vueling’s future strategy from a maintenance suppliers perspective, leading the strategy for new maintenance suppliers aligned with the fleet transition plan (B737 MAX fleet incorporation project) and the airline’s long-term plans.
You will take ownership of transformation and performance governance, ensuring supplier readiness, operational excellence, and measurable value across our maintenance supplier ecosystem. Acting as the key integrator between technical and commercial functions, you will lead strategic transformation projects, implement performance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement.
This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision-making, and driving operational excellence in a high-impact, fleet transition project.
Main Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Lead strategic transformation initiatives, promoting change and aligning projects with business priorities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, commercial, financial) to deliver transformation goals.
Develop and oversee supplier performance frameworks, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Conduct supplier performance reviews, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Provide advanced analytics and actionable insights to support executive decision-making and strategic sourcing.
Monitor contract compliance, support renewals/renegotiations, and ensure alignment with business needs.
Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities through supplier performance and process optimization.
Foster collaboration across teams to maintain consistent standards, reporting, and best practices.
Coordinate the planning and execution of transformation and performance projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and business standards.
Apply structured project management practices to monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Airlines Maintenance teams, supplier management, procurement support, or contract administration, ideally within the aviation or related industry.
At least 4 years of experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects involving technical, commercial and financial stakeholders.
Familiarity with supplier relationship management and cost control initiatives.
Good understanding of aviation contracts, maintenance operations or performance governance frameworks is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of Procure-to-Pay systems (e.g., SAP, Icertis) and/or data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) highly valued.
