POLAR Specialist Coatings is a high-performance paint brand with over 130 years of manufacturing heritage. As the business continues to expand across Amazon, ecommerce and international markets, we are investing heavily in building a founder-led content and media operation designed to support both brand growth and commercial performance.
This operation will sit at the centre of our social media, ecommerce, Amazon and advertising activity. The goal is not simply to create content, but to build a scalable content engine that drives awareness, engagement, trust and ultimately sales.
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Content Operations & Social Media Manager to help build and lead this operation from the ground up.
**The Role**
This is a highly operational role and will suit somebody who enjoys building structure, creating systems and coordinating people.
You will work directly with the founder and wider leadership team to create the processes, workflows and production rhythm required to consistently deliver content across multiple channels.
Whilst creativity is important, your primary responsibility will be turning ideas into execution.
You will oversee content planning, production, scheduling, reporting and team management whilst ensuring content is supporting both brand and commercial objectives.
A major part of the role will involve building and managing the wider content team. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding and managing key creative resources including a videographer, Amazon editor, social media editor and Social Media & Content Coordinator.
You will also work closely with our ecommerce team, customer service team and social media agency to ensure content requirements are understood, prioritised and delivered effectively.
**Key Responsibilities**
You will be responsible for building and managing the content operation, including content calendars, production schedules, workflow management, reporting systems and team coordination.
You will oversee founder content, POLAR social media content, ecommerce content and Amazon content requirements, ensuring all content is delivered consistently and aligned with business priorities.
You will manage relationships with editors, videographers, agencies and freelancers, ensuring projects remain on track and deliverables are completed to a high standard.
Working alongside internal teams, you will help establish systems for content requests, sample coordination, asset management and content delivery, creating a scalable framework that can support future growth.
You will monitor content performance across all platforms and use data to improve output, identify opportunities and refine future content strategy.
We are looking for someone who is naturally organised, proactive and operationally minded.
You should enjoy managing multiple projects simultaneously, building systems, coordinating people and driving execution.
Experience within ecommerce, Amazon, founder-led brands or fast-growth businesses would be highly advantageous.
**Essential Requirements**
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in content management, content operations, social media management, project management or similar.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience managing freelancers, agencies or creative teams.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content performance.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Based within commuting distance of Marbella.
- Own vehicle and valid driving licence.
- Available for regular in-person collaboration and filming days.

Pay: 3,000.00€ - 4,000.00€ per month
