The Healthcare Consultant Solutions (HCS) provides consulting services to diagnostic customers. The consultant visits hospitals and laboratories to collect information, determine solutions, and fulfill customer needs with Siemens Healthineers portfolio. In pre‐sales, they use expertise in design and visualization of laboratory layouts to create CAD drawings and analyze workflow, preparing presentations. During implementation, they collaborate with PM and Service Team for smooth transition, verifying implementation and proposing adjustments. In post‐sales, the consultant performs lab optimization on strategic accounts, evaluating workflow and processes to generate value to customers and Siemens Healthineers. Qualified candidates need strong visualization, proficiency in AutoDesk tools (AutoCAD), basic 3D modelling knowledge. They will interact with customers at various levels and internally with sales, business, marketing, and other departments. Availability to travel up to 40% of the time internationally is required.
Main responsibilities
Analyze lab processes and organization, identifying specific customer issues and needs from data collection and on‐site observation.
Work with architects, facilities, and contractors to provide environmental requirements (water, power, waste, etc.), helping customers design site‐ready plans with high‐quality documentation.
Develop and design a customer proposal demonstrating the value of our solution aligned with strategy from business/sales/marketing.
Elaborate and present internally and to the customer the value of our solution, differentiators, and potential savings.
Support the team in tender responses, especially for complex and automation projects.
Support the PM in discussions with customers about transition and change management for automation and complex deals.
Organize workshops with the customer to assure smooth implementation of new processes (Change Management).
Follow up regularly with PM/Sales/Service team during implementation to monitor workflow & IT solutions implementation.
Select strategic accounts for lab optimization (Health Check) in alignment with business, sales, and marketing, using HCS tools to identify improvement areas.
Quantify improvements from lab optimization to generate value to the customer and Siemens Healthineers.
Assist in other consulting work, data analytics in workload generation programs and simulation database programs, pulling dashboard data from AMC, ADM, APM.
Work with customers on long‐term solutions and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications
Master’s/Bachelor’s in biomedical sciences, lab technician, or engineering in chemistry, biochemistry, physics, or biology.
High proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices in healthcare settings.
Clinical laboratory market & workflow knowledge preferred with experience in lab consulting, commercial team, and/or project management.
Analytical mindset, critical thinking, and strong technical skills and IT affinity.
Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to answer commercial/technical questions.
Team oriented, open minded, creative, solution‐oriented, comfortable with challenges and complex projects.
Sensitivity to cultural differences and efficient multicultural teamwork.
Excellent English level for interacting with international colleagues, headquarters and training.
Availability to travel part‐time (up to 40%) within country and internationally.
