Team Info:
You will be part of a new team responsible for developing and maintaining the OX Cloud MTA platform, working closely with the Cloud Operations team and other internal teams such as Support and Engineering Services.
Tech Stack:
* Protocols: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DANE
* Deployment: Openstack, Kubernetes, Chef, Terraform, Ansible
* Languages: Golang, Python, Ruby
* OS: Linux
Your Responsibilities:
* Own and maintain the OX Cloud MTA project, including building, testing, and maintaining code and policies.
* Design and implement processes to handle and prevent abuse on the platform, enhancing abuse detection and response capabilities.
* Increase system automation and monitoring to improve workload efficiency.
* Collaborate across departments to guide product delivery and achieve team goals.
* Manage IP warm-up and RBL delisting processes.
* Share knowledge of abuse analysis tools and techniques with the team.
Your Background:
* Strong background as a delivery engineer, anti-abuse engineer, or systems engineer with a security focus.
* Good understanding of MTA and AVAS vendor space, with a passion for automating workload and abuse handling.
* Enjoy troubleshooting and solving security and deliverability challenges.
* Stay updated with standards and RFCs.
* Effective communicator in English, both verbally and in writing.
* Team player who loves sharing knowledge and learning.
* Motivated, creative, and passionate about connecting the world through open-source technology.
