Dematic is seeking a leader with expertise in HR Operations and Payroll to lead the EMEA HR Operations and Payroll CoE. Reporting to the Global Director of HR EMEA, this position will oversee payroll for the region, optimize and manage personnel administration, and ensure data integrity and compliance across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities :
Payroll :
* Ensure payroll processing in each country has the necessary technology, processes, policies, and administrative support to run compliant and reliable payroll for diverse employee groups, including shadow payroll for immigration compliance.
* Coordinate with Accounting and Finance departments as needed.
* Serve as the escalation point for complex operational or payroll issues.
* Stay updated on payroll legislation and revise internal processes to ensure compliance.
* Policy administration: Ensure policies in each country are properly version-controlled, distributed, and maintained.
* Centralized documentation: Ensure benefits and related documentation from each country are well-documented, accessible, and maintained.
* Lead initiatives such as: electronic document management implementations, audit responses, and automation of tasks using AI or other technologies.
* Employee documentation: Lead the implementation of electronic document management systems and maintain employee files in compliance with regulations.
HR Operations :
* Standardize and, where relevant, centralize core processes that support the employee lifecycle and personnel administration.
* Manage social, regulatory, and fiscal requirements across the scope.
* Oversee personnel administration, ensuring data integrity, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with other COE leaders to optimize processes, improve data integrity, ensure compliance, and enhance end-user experience.
Requirements :
* Professional experience in international payroll, especially across multiple EU countries.
* Deep knowledge of payroll, immigration, and HR systems, with the ability to navigate complex HR landscapes.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
* Effective communication skills for working in a matrixed multinational environment.
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in HR documentation and administration.
* In-depth understanding of payroll, wage, tax filings, mobility, personnel administration, compliance, and HR technology.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Workday or relevant systems, automation, and payroll integrations.
* Experience leading multinational HR Operations and payroll teams.
* Expertise in managing end-to-end payroll, personnel administration, and compliance to enhance data integrity and user experience.
