We are looking for a Product Communication Specialist to join Majorica’s Product team.
This new role will be responsible for structuring, documenting and communicating all product-related information across the company. The Product Communication Specialist will act as the bridge between product development and the internal teams that need to understand, communicate, sell and activate each collection.
The role combines product knowledge, communication, internal training and product information management. It requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, sensitivity to product storytelling, and the ability to translate product development information into clear, accurate and actionable materials for different internal audiences.
This person will ensure that every collection and product is properly documented from both a technical and narrativeperspective: inspiration, concept, materials, dimensions, weight, finishes, key messages, product benefits, selling arguments and product data.
The final objective is to create a consistent and reliable product information flow across the company, supporting teams such as Retail, Marketing, E-commerce, Wholesale, Training, Customer Service and Visual Merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
Product Information & Documentation
Collect, structure and validate all relevant product information during the product development process.
Prepare complete product and collection files, including technical, commercial and narrative information.
Document product inspiration, collection concept, materials, components, finishes, sizes, weights, colours, product categories, codes and other relevant specifications.
Ensure all product information is accurate, complete, consistent and available on time for internal teams.
Identify missing information, inconsistencies or gaps in product documentation and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve them.
Product Communication
Support the definition of key product messages for each collection and product family, in close alignment with Marketing.
Translate product development information into clear, structured and actionable communication materials for internal teams.
Prepare internal product briefs that explain what needs to be communicated from a product perspective, which attributes should be highlighted, and how the product should be understood internally.
Create the “source of truth” for product information, ensuring that all teams work from the same validated product knowledge.
Ensure consistency between product features, product positioning, brand strategy and marketing communication.
Provide Marketing, Retail, E-commerce and Wholesale teams with the product knowledge and arguments needed to develop their own channel-specific content.
Internal Training & Product Knowledge
Prepare and deliver internal product training sessions for different teams, including Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce, Marketing and Customer Service.
Train internal teams on new collections, product stories, materials, product benefits, technical details and selling arguments.
Develop product training materials, product books, collection guides, FAQs, sales arguments and quick reference documents.
Adapt the level of product information depending on the audience and business need.
Act as an internal reference point for product knowledge and product-related questions.
Systems & Data Management
Enter, update and maintain product information in the relevant internal systems.
Ensure product data is correctly uploaded and aligned across ERP, PIM, e-commerce tools, catalogues or other product management platforms.
Support the improvement of product information processes and data accuracy.
Work closely with Product, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing and Digital teams to ensure reliable product information flows.
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, Marketing, Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce and Customer Service.
Ensure each team receives the right product information at the right time and in the right format.
Support collection launches by preparing the required product communication and training materials.
Help create more structure, consistency and discipline in how Majorica documents and communicates its products internally.
Candidate Profile
Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Product Communication, Fashion Communication or similar.
Previous experience in product communication, product content, training, merchandising, marketing coordination or product documentation.
Experience in fashion, jewellery, accessories, beauty, luxury, premium retail or lifestyle brands would be highly valued.
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
Strong ability to transform technical and creative product information into clear, structured and engaging internal materials.
Strong understanding of product storytelling and product positioning.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Comfortable working with product data, technical specifications and internal systems.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage information flows.
Proactive, structured and autonomous working style.
Interest in jewellery, craftsmanship, materials and product culture.
Languages
Spanish: fluent / native-level.
English: fluent / professional-level, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Additional languages would be a plus.
