The Director, Supply Chain & Quality, International plays a pivotal role in creating and transforming a best‑in‑class global supply chain and quality organization. The role will design and execute an end‑to‑end strategy that elevates service levels, ensures uncompromising quality, streamlines supply operations, optimizes the global footprint, and reduces total landed cost. The Director will champion a culture of excellence, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement, ensuring that Kinetico’s operations become a competitive differentiator for the company.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Leadership and Team Development
* Lead and develop high‑performing teams across supply chain, logistics, and quality.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.
* Demand Planning and S&OP / IBP
* Drive Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
* Ensure accurate, data‑driven forecasting through advanced analytics and strong collaboration across functions.
* Supply Planning and Inventory Management
* Build supply plans that optimize service levels, cost efficiency, and manufacturing capacity.
* Implement strategies for inventory optimization, safety stock modeling, and material availability.
* Distribution Network Optimization
* Manage distribution centers and optimize network footprint through scenario modeling, DC consolidation, 3PL evaluation, and strategic placement decisions.
* Balance cost-to-serve with service excellence to design a world‑class distribution network.
* Logistics and Transportation
* Develop multimodal transportation strategies, considering tariffs, customs, and international logistics.
* Negotiate with logistics providers to implement cost‑efficient and reliable transportation solutions.
* Operational Excellence
* Oversee key processes including production planning, procurement, warehousing, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
* Drive initiatives for total cost management, commodity strategies, and supplier performance improvement.
* Quality Leadership
* Lead the Quality function in partnership with global and regional Quality teams.
* Ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements by
o Implementing robust reporting and tracking systems.
o Driving corrective and preventive actions.
o Promoting continuous improvement initiatives to elevate product and process quality.
Qualifications & Experience
* Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
* Required: 15+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain management, including multi‑site or multi‑country leadership roles.
* Preference: Master’s degree and/or recognized professional certifications (APICS, CSCP, CPIM, Lean/Six Sigma, PMP).
* Demonstrated leadership experience building, redesigning, and optimizing supply chain networks at large, complex organizations.
* Demonstrated success leading global teams and developing high‑performance supply chain organizations.
* Ability to drive complex transformation programs, challenge the status quo, and implement new processes, technologies, and capabilities.
* Strong analytical and decision‑making capability to interpret data and make informed and timely choices that balance strategic objectives with operational needs.
* Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across all organizational levels, while influencing decisions and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
* Proven negotiation skills to secure agreements that maximize value and minimize risk.
