General Responsibility
As the Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in defining the company's portfolio by providing new solutions to patients. You will support candidate identification, project evaluation through cross-functional teams, and propose the most suitable candidates to the board.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Prospect, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities worldwide.
2. Conduct in-depth market research and therapeutic area analysis.
3. Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose creative solutions or business models promptly.
4. Coordinate with transversal teams, solve problems, and clarify doubts during project evaluation.
5. Provide regular reports on progress and opportunities.
6. Support other activities within the Business Development Department.
Requirements and Personal Skills
* Education: Pharmacy or life sciences degree.
* Languages: Advanced Spanish and English.
* Experience: 1-2 years in the pharma industry, preferably in business development (generic business).
* Specific Knowledge: Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
* Travel: None, occasional to 1-2 conferences per year.
* Personal Skills: Excellent communication, proactive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, driven decision-maker, independent and team worker, organized, and problem solver.
