They’re looking to hire an Automation / Controls Engineer to act as a key hands-on field engineer, supporting projects from build to commissioning to optimisation.
In this role you will be:
Bridging engineering design and on-site execution
Working across PLC, VFDs, industrial IoT and instrumentation systems
Involved in commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
Supporting complex industrial sites (metals, manufacturing, heavy industry)
Working with industrial comms
Acting as the on-site technical lead during installation and commissioning
Supporting ongoing system performance, maintenance and upgrades
What they’re looking for
Strong background in industrial automation / controls engineering
Hands‑on experience with PLCs, drives, instrumentation
Comfortable working on‑site across industrial environments
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve real‑world issues
Open to 30–40% international travel
