As the IT Manager, you'll be the strategic and technical leader for IT operations. This hands-on role involves leading and mentoring a small team, plus direct contribution to architecture, maintenance, and optimization. You'll bridge engineering needs and technology, ensuring infrastructure is a competitive advantage. You'll manage a hybrid environment: an HPC farm, cloud resources, and essential services for ~150 technical users. What You'll Do Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and grow the IT team; develop a long-term IT roadmap aligned with company goals; manage budget, vendors, and procurement; manage and oversee internal tools and support applications development, liaise between stakeholders to direct website development; Infrastructure & HPC Management: Own our hybrid-cloud, RHEL-based (Rocky Linux) compute farm (SLURM-managed); ensure high availability, performance, and security of servers, storage, and networking (office, colocation, Hetzner cloud); drive automation with Ansible, Python, and Bash. Responsible for proper backup strategy and disaster recovery plans. Engineering Enablement: Partner with silicon design/verification engineers to optimize IT for their workflows; manage GitLab and GitLab CI/CD environment, manage licensing, deployment, and support of EDA tools and custom Python tooling; evaluate new technologies for productivity. IT Operations & Support: Oversee IT support; manage user devices, network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS) and collaboration tools; knowledge of authentication stack and user management (freeIPA, Keycloak, OAuth2), develop security policies, data backup, and disaster recovery plans. What You'll Bring (Qualifications) Required: Proven IT management/senior systems engineering experience, ideally in semiconductor, EDA, or HPC environments. Deep expertise in RHEL-based Linux systems administration (Rocky Linux, RHEL, CentOS). Strong scripting/automation skills: Python and Bash. Hands-on experience with Ansible. Experience managing core network services/protocols. Ability to lead technical projects and manage a small team. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points: Direct experience with HPC workload managers (SLURM, LSF, SGE). Direct experience in administering GitLab self-hosted instances. Familiarity with EDA toolchain IT requirements (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens). Familiarity with Mikrotik and UniFi network equipment. Experience managing hybrid infrastructure (on-premise, cloud).
