Your role
\n
As a Category Specialist, you will contribute to driving category performance, optimizing assortment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across different functions.
\n
What will be your responsibilities?
\n
- Develop and implement the product assortment strategy, adapting it to market demands and customer expectations.
- Continuously review and optimize the assortment to ensure it remains competitive, up to date, and focused on high-rotation key products.
- Define and manage the product portfolio in line with consumer trends and company strategy.
- Analyze competitors’ assortments and consumer behavior to adjust the product mix and maintain an attractive, competitive offer.
- Design and coordinate promotions and special offers to drive sales and stock rotation.
- Ensure category profitability through constant analysis of margins, costs, and pricing.
- Build and monitor the category strategy and brand-level building blocks to achieve budget targets.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor service levels, and act as the main point of contact for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to co-create category marketing plans.
What we’re looking for \n
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in category management, merchandising, buying, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of Excel; Power BI is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindset.
