Development Engineer Electrical Pitch & Yaw (m/f/d)

Overview
Join a motivated, international Engineering team working on exciting projects. You will contribute to development and data analysis tasks for the electrical pitch & yaw system, which per axis includes a frequency converter to control the electro-mechanical drive and an energy storage to ensure pitch safety even during grid outage.
Responsibilities
* PLC programming with CoDeSys
* Specify, perform, evaluate and document tests for the electrical pitch & yaw system on component, system and turbine levels
* Analyze field data to verify correct behaviour of the pitch & yaw system
* Program and parameterize the pitch converter according to aligned functional specifications
* Collaborate in cross-functional teams to discuss requirements and compile a technical specification
* Review with external suppliers proposed technical solutions, component dimensioning and optimal configuration
* Create relevant technical documentation (e.G., FMEA, manuals, technical notifications)
Qualifications
* M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar, preferably automation, power electronics or electrical drives
* Advanced user in MATLAB/Simulink
* Experience in PLC programming;
CoDeSys and/or Python knowledge is a plus
* Experience in data analysis is advantageous
* Fluent in English (spoken and written);
Spanish and/or German helpful
* Structured, autonomous, solution-oriented work style with accuracy and efficiency
* Intercultural understanding and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, global teams
* Willingness to travel to test benches up to ~20% of working time
