Country Director – Spain
Main Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
* Define and execute the company’s growth strategy in Spain.
* Own commercial performance and country P&L.
* Drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and market expansion.
* Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
* Build, lead, and develop the local team.
* Manage hiring, performance, and talent development.
* Foster a high-performance and entrepreneurial culture.
* Ensure alignment between local execution and global objectives.
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.
* Lead strategic partnerships and commercial negotiations.
* Represent the company with customers, partners, and industry leaders.
* Support the company's positioning and visibility in the Spanish market.
Operational Excellence
* Ensure effective execution of local business plans.
* Collaborate with global teams across Commercial, Product, Clinical, and Operations functions.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity.
* Drive continuous improvement and scalability of local operations.
What we are looking for:
* Significant experience in healthcare, healthtech, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, or related sectors.
* Strong understanding of the Spanish healthcare system.
* Proven experience leading teams, business units, or country operations.
* Strong commercial mindset and experience managing business performance.
* Established network within the healthcare sector in Spain.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluent Spanish and English.
