AXA Partners is offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Technician to join our Finance Department. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to support the fiscal management of two major companies within our group—one in the Insurance sector and the other in Services. Both companies are part of an advanced VAT Fiscal Consolidation Group, with Inter Partner Assistance Spain as the head of the group. Additionally, these companies are subsidiaries of a horizontal Corporate Tax Consolidation Group led by AXA S.A., represented in Spain by AXA Mediterranean Holding.
What you’ll be doing :
* Conduct comprehensive analysis and preparation of Corporate Taxes for all companies within the IPA Group Spain.
* Analyze and execute Company Tax Instalments for the IPA Spain Group.
* Calculate and analyze the annual VAT pro-rata for the IPA Sucursal insurance company.
* Prepare and consolidate the VAT Tax Report for the entire group.
* Develop the Transfer Pricing Report for the IPA Spain Group, including the annual mapping of intra-group transactions.
* Compile and submit all required documentation to AXA Seguros' Tax team, the group leader in Corporate Tax, ensuring full compliance for IPA Spain subsidiaries.
* Manage appeals and maintain relations with the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT), including interactions with Collection, Management, and Inspection bodies.
* Liaise with external tax advisors for guidance on technical tax issues and strategic tax planning.
* Coordinate with the AXA Partners and AXA Insurance Central Tax teams to align and consolidate tax matters across the organization.
* Provide expert tax advice and support to various departments within the company.
What you’ll bring :
* Proven 4-5 years of experience in tax management and filing, ideally within the insurance or services sectors.
* Extensive knowledge of tax regulations, particularly in VAT and Corporate Tax.
* Strong ability to identify tax risks and opportunities, coupled with the expertise to propose effective, efficient solutions.
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent reasoning and argumentation abilities, essential for resolving complex tax issues.
* Sharp critical thinking skills, with the capacity to evaluate and interpret tax regulations and practices.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Advanced English proficiency, necessary for communication within the group.
