Digital Controlling Functional ExpertThe controlling Functional Expert plays a key role in supporting and evolving the controlling application landscape. This role partners closely with global business stakeholders, Digital teams, and support functions to ensure stable operations, optimize processes, and drive the successful delivery of business value initiatives. Ensure BAU & efficient WoW with ERP Support Team and Platform team on the business continuity & incident management. Ensure continues improvement & strategic enhancement of controlling ERP capabilities in alignment with business through change requests and BVPs (business value project)Support & contribute to Transformation roadmap in the horizon of 2027- 2030 where Opella will be moving towards 1 ERP strategy across the globe. Drive transformation for controlling ERP
Liaise with global controlling and finance performance business stakeholders, following defined governance frameworks and proactively proposing improvements.Develop a deep understanding of controlling business processes and assess the current application landscape to identify strengths, weaknesses, and integration opportunities.Provide consultative support on business led technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with Digital and enterprise standards.
Provide functional and technical expertise on SAP and related controlling solutions, ensuring high quality and scalable designs.Validate and approve solution designs delivered by project teams, ensuring consistency, compliance, and end-to-end integration.Evaluate the current support model for in scope applications, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and monitoring.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems within the controlling domain.Collaborate with support teams to ensure incidents are resolved within SLA and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.Partner with Product Owners and Business Owners to prioritize the enhancement backlog, reducing incident volume and improving user experience.
Project DeliverySupport ERP transformation Projects by raising potential issues and risks, identifying stakeholders, validating functional and technical design, defining test cases, collaborate in SIT execution, following up UAT, supporting teams during cut over and ensuring Go live and Hypercare are running smoothly until Project is transferred to BaU.Lead or support the end-to-end deployment of Business Value Projects, from business case creation through implementation and KPI monitoring.Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and processes across the full project lifecycle.
Collaboration with Digital TeamsEngage with Architecture, Integration, and Data teams to ensure that controlling applications follow best practices in design, integration patterns, security, and data management.10+ years doing ERP delivery in a business-oriented context, preferably in an FMCG global company for SAP controlling modules especially in the following modules:~ Profitability analysis (COPA)~ Budgeting and cost planning,~ Knowledge in finance performance tool like TM1, consolidation like SAP FC is a plus.~ Proven experience in end-to-end process understanding within Controlling~ Experience working in a global environment with complex landscapes and cross-functional teams.~ Experience with integration platforms (SAP CPI, APIs, middleware).Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools: Jira, Confluence.Exposure to data governance, master data concepts, and reporting tools.
