Peripherals SEMEA Category Manager
Description -
This role leads the end-to-end deployment of the HP Consumer Peripherals Category strategy across SEMEA, with a strong focus on driving sustainable growth and profitability. The position plays a key role in shaping and executing the regional category business plan, working cross‑functionally with marketing, sales, finance, and local country teams to ensure seamless execution. With full responsibility for selected peripherals product lines within the Italian P&L;, the role combines strategic category leadership with hands-on market execution, performance monitoring, and customer-centric insights to strengthen category performance across channels and end-user segments.
Responsibilities
- Leads overall engagement with SEMEA countries to deploy HP Consumer Peripherals Category strategy.
- Contributes and actively participates in defining SEMEA category business plan and strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborates with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and finance to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales performance to identify areas for improvement and develops action plans accordingly.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of product categories, business management, and sales challenges and strategies.
- Gathers and analyzes customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, and translates insights into actionable improvements.
- Supports the Italy Category team on the Peripherals Category plan executions.
- Collaborates with the Italian Channel and End User teams to track and support peripherals business.
- Hold responsibility for peripherals Product Lines within the Italian PnL.
Education and Experience Required
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L; management, or a related field.
