What The Role Delivers We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Regulatory Manager specialized in fungicides/food additive registrations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the global regulatory affairs related to the development, approval, and maintenance of our SO2 products. The Global Regulatory Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D, regional regulatory managers, suppliers, legal, and government authorities, to ensure all regulatory requirements are met across international markets.
Key Responsibilities Develop Global Regulatory Strategy Support development of new SO2 products by building registration strategies for targeted markets with the support of regional regulatory managers and consultants.
Assess cost and timing for core data package development.
Coordinate and monitor product/active-ingredient studies with CROs.
Lead and manage the regulatory submission process, including preparing and reviewing dossiers, managing timelines, and ensuring approval in key global markets.
Participate in key agency meetings in support of regional regulatory managers.
Build annual budget for the regulatory SO2 projects.
Asset Management Work with operations on sourcing of active ingredients.
Discuss regulatory activities with SO2 active-ingredient suppliers.
Stay up to date on global regulatory changes impacting AgroFresh products and competitors.
Assess food trade possibilities and ways to improve them (MRLs, etc.).
Regulatory Advocacy Act as a key point of contact with regulatory agencies (EPA, EFSA, etc.), industry groups, and other stakeholders to ensure positive relationships and promote favorable regulatory outcomes.
Global Database Ensure accurate record-keeping on product and active-ingredient studies in the AgroFresh database.
People and Partnerships Primary internal stakeholders: R&D (Biology, Project Management Office), regional regulatory managers, global marketing, operations, consulting partners.
Primary external stakeholders: Contract Research Organizations.

What The Job Requires Advanced degree in a related technical area (Toxicology, Residue Chemistry, etc.).
5 to 7 years of prior agricultural regulatory experience. Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with regulatory requirements for pesticide registrations with key agencies.
Representing the company with major agencies and industry associations.
Desired Experience Successful development of product data packages in key territories (USA, Europe, Brazil, China).
Experience in monitoring studies with contract research laboratories.
Strong interpersonal skills – good at influencing and networking.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen and experience working with commercial organizations.
High level of safety and ethical integrity.
Proficiency in English language required.
