LA COMBA is seeking a Native English Substitute Teacher to join our team as a freelance (self-employed) professional. This is a part-time, hourly, on-call position, providing cover when needed. The successful candidate will work primarily with teenage students, while also being able to teach younger learners from age 6 and up. Responsibilities include delivering engaging English lessons, following the established curriculum, planning lessons and activities when required, assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive and motivating classroom environment.
This role is on-site at our center in Chiclana de la Frontera.
Requirements
· Native English speaker.
· Must be freelance / self-employed (autónomo).
· Proven ability to teach Cambridge English B1 and B2 levels, especially for teens.
· Ability to work effectively with students aged 6 and above.
· Strong competence in English teaching, capable of delivering dynamic and effective lessons.
· Experience in lesson planning and educational content development.
· Solid understanding of teaching methodologies that support an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students.
· Previous experience in similar roles and relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
