Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Credit Analyst at Associate Director level within the Structured Credit team based out of Madrid (SF EMEA locations). About the Team
Fitch’s European Structured Finance team maintains existing ratings and assigns ratings to new structured finance transactions.
Responsibilities
* Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling
* Review transaction legal documents
* On-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers
* Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees
* Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings
* Communicate with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions
* Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research
You May Be a Good Fit If
* This is a demanding and exciting role;
we are looking for highly motivated candidates
* Some prior experience in finance
* Knowledge of securitisation structures, particularly CLOs, is beneficial
* Candidates should be highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skills
* The role involves review of legal transaction documents;
no legal background is required, but the ability to review and analyse legal contracts from a credit risk perspective is important
