Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional for a role in ultra-luxury accommodations with presence in different regions and destinations. The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-opening hotels or accommodations, be willing to create and develop new ways of working, and lead a team.
Reporting to: CFO and CEO/COO
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure strong financial management within a robust control environment.
* Have ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the hotels and restaurants.
* Manage the finance relationship with operations and finance teams at hotel and head office levels, ensuring excellent service through quality input.
* Provide focused, innovative, and value-adding management reporting and analysis.
* Deliver high-quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant.
* Ensure reporting incorporates benchmarking, key performance indicators, and use of a balanced scorecard.
* Optimize and develop systems to improve efficiency and information flow.
* Ensure training for users and challenge processes to eliminate non-value-adding tasks.
* Work with colleagues to correct errors at source and amend processes to prevent errors.
* Lead the planning and forecasting process for London, ensuring financial plans align with strategic objectives.
* Support general managers and the finance team in hotel strategic planning, focusing on value opportunities.
* Manage the formulation, review, and approval of budgets within hotels and restaurants.
* Lead, develop, and inspire a high-quality finance team, planning for succession and continuous training.
Additional requirements include being able to work based in Menorca and travel, creating new processes, and helping the company grow.
