The position will be located in Airbus Barcelona facilities, located downtown. The team in Barcelona works closely with Airbus partner departments (Programmes, Business development, Sales, Operations, Engineering ) in France, Germany and has the responsibility to create and deliver new innovative Geospatial features in line with the market and future needs.

**Your role**
Airbus Defense and Space operates one of the best in class satellite constellation. The images acquired by the satellites are processed by a processing suite developed in house. It produces a large set of products from the raw imagery to highly elaborated analytics.
Since several years, Airbus develops and offers satellite complementary Geospatial solutions, such as HAPS (High Altitude Platform Stations). HAPS are stratospheric, solar electric, UAS that provide persistence, accuracy and increased imagery and live video resolution.
Airbus GeoTech is the company in charge of ensuring the development, acceptance, test, manufcaturing and operations of the Airbus HAPS Earth Observation payload. In addition, Airbus GeoTech is an imagery and 2D/3D Mapping expert.
- Conduct an assessment of the company finance & accounting procedures and tools
- Define an improvement plan for finance & accounting procedures and tools
- Research/benchmark finance & accounting tools adapted for the company operations
- Define finance & accounting KPIs for finance analysis
- Implement cost accounting analytics, for key projects, leveraging the KPIs
- Extract conclusions and suggested derived financial measures
- Ensure proper implementation of Airbus internal control measures
- For the geospatial & mapping perimeter, identify KPI to track project implementation, anticipate and mitigate risks
- Support project managers define a project management methodology and structure
- Support customer bids by conducting cost analysis and proposing pricing
- Support procurement strategy and define actions forward towards minimizing company costs and increased company profitability
Curious and passionate, he / she knows how to look for information and remain at the state of the art in a highly evolving market landscape. Autonomous, he / she is able to take in charge finance / procurement / project management themes, to discuss the objectives with the different actors, and to bring it to an end in coherence with the operational imperatives of the company.
Finally, with good communication skills including English, he / she will interact with support teams and internal or external clients / partners. A strong customer orientation with good listening skills and the search for innovative solutions is an important aspect of the job.
**Required know-how for the position**
- A finance or business degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in small / medium companies.
- Knowledge in image processing and Earth Observation is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in order to interact with support teams and internal or external clients / partners.
- A strong customer orientation with good listening skills and the search for innovative solutions is an important aspect of the job.
- A negotiation level of English is required.
- Catalan, Spanish, French or German are a plus
