Job Title: Customer Manager

Responsibilities include:
1. Visiting professional food and hospitality customers in Cash's catchment areas to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
2. Developing strategies to increase sales and revenue in accordance with company standards, pricing, and promotions.
3. Achieving and exceeding regional sales, profit, and margin targets across foodservice channels.
4. Managing a prospect list to acquire new customers and expanding current accounts.
5. Maintaining customer accounts within agreed credit terms and managing contracts to maximize profitability.
6. Controlling territory management costs through effective planning and resource allocation.
7. Providing excellent customer service via friendly communication and accurate administration.
8. Monitoring competitor activity and industry trends to inform sales strategies.
9. Ensuring the correct product mix in each account for maximum profitability.
10. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure business growth.
11. Completing administrative tasks such as journey plans, sales reports, and prospect lists.
12. Supporting inventory management, refunds, and promotional campaigns.
13. Conducting market research to identify new opportunities.
14. Attending sales meetings and reporting on performance and market trends.
Health & Safety:
* Understanding workplace risks and complying with safety regulations.
* Participating in safety training and reporting incidents or anomalies.
Minimum Requirements:
* A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
* Full clean driving license.
* Proven experience in proactive field sales with a track record of achieving targets.
* Understanding of foodservice customers and industry trends.
* Professional selling, negotiation, and customer-focused skills.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
* Integrity, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
Desirable Attributes:
* Food qualification.
* Knowledge of the food industry and market.
* Experience in foodservice sales.
* Fluent English language skills.
