The team that started iVascular has more than 30 years of experience in the field of vascular devices, being responsible for obtaining one of the first CE marks for a drug eluting stent more than 20 years ago. We are currently looking for an R&D Project Leader for our plant located in Sant Vicen dels Horts (Barcelona). Responsibilities Prepare the technical planning for assigned projects, applying the methodology implemented in the company. In collaboration with the department head, prepare project budgets and define the technical and human resources to achieve the technical and economic objectives. Ensure the feasibility and technical quality of the solutions proposed. Coordinate and implement the production process for the products developed. Research and develop improvements in the technical characteristics, quality, and costs of products. Define purchasing specifications and approve suppliers from the initial stage until the product is transferred to the factory, sending guidelines for subsequent procurement. Requirements and personal skills Education: Industrial Engineering, especially in the mechanical, electromechanical, materials, biomedical fields or a similar one. Languages: high level of English and Spanish. Experience (years/area): Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position. Specific Knowledge: Previous experience working in an R&D department. Previous experience working with CAD systems (especially Solidworks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys. Travels: occasionally (fairs and congresses).
