**Summary**:
Support the development of scientific communication platform (scientific statements, lexicon, and scientific narrative) aligned with Therapeutic Area and scientific communications for assigned launch asset/disease area including publication strategy, planning and execution, global medical education strategy and execution.
**About the Role**:
**Key responsibilities**
- Create and align scientific communication plans with Therapeutic Area priorities for assigned assets/disease areas.
- Oversee integral publication plans and lead cross-functional publication teams effectively.
- Implement global medical education strategies, including scientific events and pipeline-focused resources.
- Collaborate with Therapeutic Area teams to develop scientific narratives, lexicon, and statements.
- Coordinate data interpretation, trial results, competitor analysis, and congress narratives.
- Ensure all communications comply with legal, regulatory, and Novartis-specific requirements.
- Manage vendor selection, approvals, and project budgets while maintaining fiscal discipline.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance communication impact.
**Essential requirements**:
- 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industries, ideally in publication planning and/or medical education.
- Advanced degree or equivalent education in life sciences/healthcare preferred (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD).
- Experience developing communication strategies and key scientific platforms. Ability to provide strategic insight into expert development, publication planning, and medical education for launch assets.
- Skilled in scientific messaging and execution of publications, with strong communication abilities for lay audiences.
- Thorough understanding of ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strategic mindset with innovation, critical thinking, and performance-driven motivation.
- Experience working effectively in matrix environments across functions, regions, and countries.
