EU - Spain : Marketing Manager
About the role :
STERRY Limited is looking for a Marketing Manager focusing on Europe (particularly Germany, France, Spain, and Italy) in a remote setup. Key qualifications and skills are essential for managing diverse markets and working across various cultures.
Qualifications :
1. Educational Background
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree (optional) in International Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business Administration could be an advantage.
1. Experience
Proven experience in marketing management, especially in a digital marketing agency environment. Experience in international markets or with clients in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, or Europe is crucial. Experience working remotely and managing multi-channel, multi-market campaigns is highly desirable.
1. Language Skills
Fluency in English is essential. Fluency or proficiency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian is highly advantageous, depending on the focus region.
1. Technical & Digital Marketing Skills
Proficiency with digital marketing strategies and tools like SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and influencer marketing. Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools is important.
1. Cultural Understanding
Deep understanding of consumer behavior and cultural nuances in target countries. Knowledge of GDPR and local advertising standards is necessary. Ability to localize campaigns for each European market.
1. Leadership & Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leadership qualities to manage remote teams and coordinate cross-functional teams are required.
1. Strategy & Analytical Skills
Ability to design effective marketing strategies aligned with business goals. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize campaigns. Experience in budget management.
1. Adaptability & Flexibility
Ability to work across time zones, adapt to a dynamic environment, and manage client relationships effectively.
1. Tools and Platforms Proficiency
Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, ad management platforms, and analytics tools. Certifications in Google Ads, Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, etc., are advantageous.
1. Soft Skills
Problem-solving, time management, self-discipline, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential for success in a remote environment.
1. Other Qualifications
Experience with e-commerce platforms and B2B marketing strategies can be valuable. A network of local partners or influencers is a plus.
