We are seeking a Mid–Senior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) software systems and sensing algorithms.
In this role, you will work on embedded software and algorithm development for UWB-based systems, enabling high-precision ranging, localization, and sensing capabilities. You will collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system engineers to design and optimize software that interfaces directly with UWB chipsets and embedded platforms.
This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to hardware, solving challenging problems related to wireless sensing, timing, and algorithm performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain embedded software for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) systems.
* Develop and optimize sensing and ranging algorithms, including narrow-band detection and signal processing techniques.
* Integrate software with UWB chipsets, RF hardware, and embedded platforms.
* Contribute to the development of localization and ranging functionality (e.g., time-of-flight or related techniques).
* Collaborate with hardware, RF, and system engineering teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
* Debug, test, and validate software performance in embedded and real-world environments.
* Participate in system architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Professional experience in embedded software development.
* Strong programming skills in C/C++.
* Experience developing sensing, signal processing, or algorithmic software for embedded systems.
* Experience working with microcontrollers and real-time or resource-constrained systems. xohynlm
