You will support new growth areas in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), including Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS), and Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR). /p pem Your contributions will include: /em /p ulli Designing, implementing, and validating AOCS and FDIR algorithms for Earth-observation, interplanetary, and ADR/IOS satellites /lili Designing, implementing, and validating GNC and FDIR algorithms for satellites, launchers, and re-entry vehicles /lili Specifying and supporting the procurement of sensors and actuators for GNC and AOCS systems /lili Model-based design implementation of GNC/AOCS algorithms /lili Designing, implementing, and testing simulators /lili Simulating dynamic systems and creating mathematical models /lili Specifying and validating GNC/AOCS solutions /lili Analyzing and making trade-offs for hardware solutions /lili Interfacing with the overall system team /lili Managing technical tasks and team responsibilities /li /ul pb What do we need? /b /p pb Educational Background: /b /p ulli A recognized engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic) or a related degree (e.g., Physics, Maths) /li /ul pem Desired Education: /em /p ulli Postgraduate studies (MSc or PhD) with a focus on aeronautical/aerospace engineering, providing a solid background in at least two of the following areas: /lili Orbital mechanics and atmospheric flight dynamics /lili FDIR design, implementation, and validation /lili Classical and robust control techniques (including fixed-structure H¥ synthesis, µ analysis, LPV control) /lili Flight operations /lili Model-based system engineering /li /ul pb Professional Experience: /b /p p At least 3 years of experience in the practical application of domains relevant to the position (relevant MSc PhD studies considered). /p pem Desired /emb : /b 5 or more years of experience.
