Research Group Overview
The aim of the group is to research and develop new technologies and treatments in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Our work is structured around three major research lines: personalized surgery, minimally invasive surgery in maxillofacial cancer, and rare tumours of the maxillofacial area.
Education and Qualifications
Required:
* Degree in Sciences
* Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (business level)
Desired:
* Ph.D. in Sciences
* Additional training in Good Clinical Practices for medical research
* Knowledge of other European languages (German, French)
Experience and Knowledge
Required:
* At least 5 years of experience in project management in Medicine/Science
* Knowledge of clinical trial management, medical data management, and peer-reviewed publication system
* Ability to review and guide scientific articles and grant proposals
* Specific training in health research methodology and clinical trials
Desired:
* Knowledge of systematic reviews (PRISMA, etc.)
* Ability to handle multiple projects, attention to detail, and focus on global needs
Main Responsibilities and Duties
* Coordinate medical research projects (unicentric and multicentric)
* Manage clinical trials internally and with Vall d'Hebron Institut d’Oncologia (VHIO)
* Design, maintain, and manage medical databases; collaborate with statistical services
* Review and guide medical articles for peer-reviewed journals
* Review and guide grant proposals
* Review literature searches and systematic review articles
* Support coordination of medical education activities
Labor Conditions
Part-time position: 5 hours/week
Gross annual salary: €42,615.2 (salary ranges aligned with Collective Agreement)
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
