LOCATION: Burgos
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
* Create 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components and assemblies
* Assist in prototype manufacturing, assembly and functional testing
* Prepare technical documentation: BOMs, assembly manuals, test procedures, validation reports
* Perform basic mechanical calculations (tolerances, loads, materials selection…)
* Support the execution of test plans and validation checks
* Participate in mechanical integration and assembly activities (hands-on work)
* Help in defining and improving manufacturing workflows and processes
* Coordinate with suppliers for components, quotes, manufacturing and deliveries
* Collaborate with other engineering departments (avionics, production…)
* Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety rules, and internal procedure
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
* 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design (professional or justified through academic/personal projects)
* Proficiency in 3D CAD design (preferably SolidWorks; other CAD tools accepted)
* Practical experience with prototyping, machining, workshop tools and assembly
* Basic knowledge of additive manufacturing, CNC machining and experience using workshop tools (drills, saw, torque wrench, hand tools...)
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical drawings
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced English (spoken and written)
* Ability to work hands-on, independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented and proactive attitude
VALUABLE / NICE-TO-HAVE
* Experience or strong interest in the aerospace industry
* Knowledge of FMEA, requirements definition, FEA tools (including thermal) or dynamical calculation
* Experience writing technical documentation in English
* Familiarity with industrial safety and workshop best practices
Salary: 30,000.00€-50,000.00€ per year depending on experience
