AI/ML Scientific/Technical Consultant – Biotech/Drug Discovery
We are seeking a Scientific/Technical AI/ML Consultant in Biotech/Drug Discovery to help design, implement, and optimise advanced AI-driven solutions in life sciences.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop and deploy AI/ML models for applications in genomics, proteomics, drug discovery, or related biotech areas.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, bioinformaticians, and product teams to deliver impactful solutions.
* Translate complex biological and technical problems into scalable AI strategies.
* Advise on AI/ML best practices, pipelines, and infrastructure to support R&D and product development.
* Present findings and insights to stakeholders, bridging scientific, technical, and business discussions
Who You Are:
* Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms, applied to biotech or life sciences.
* Experience with biological data types (genomic, proteomic, clinical, imaging) and familiarity with relevant standards and formats (HL7, FHIR, omics datasets).
* Strong coding and technical skills (Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent).
* Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams, translating AI insights into actionable strategies.
* Passion for leveraging AI to accelerate scientific discovery and innovation.
