We are looking for a results-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated senior data scientist with proven experience in designing and implementing data-driven solutions for business units to achieve tangible impact. You will apply your technical knowledge and programming skills to help business units create, develop, and/or optimize data-driven products, and derive actionable insights from data. You will also use your communication skills to share the results of your analysis with all relevant parties. You will use your project management skills to lead end to end data projects.

Sobre el puesto
We are looking for a results-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated senior data scientist with proven experience in designing and implementing data-driven solutions for business units to achieve tangible impact. You will apply your technical knowledge and programming skills to help business units create, develop, and/or optimize data-driven products, and derive actionable insights from data. You will also use your communication skills to share the results of your analysis with all relevant parties. You will use your project management skills to lead end to end data projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to gather and understand needs and requirements
* Lead end to end data projects, managing all aspects: relationship with business, engineering, Data and development team
* Lead and guide more junior data scientists to achieve the project and business objectives
* Develop clean, simple and creative code to manipulate large datasets
* Design and implement robust analytic solutions ranging from basic statistical analysis to advanced machine learning / artificial intelligence models to cover the identified needs
* Represent / visualize results in the most appropriate format and present your findings effectively to analytical and non-analytical audiences.
* Collaborate with IT teams to convert analytical proof of concepts into productive models
Required Skills And Experience
* Solid foundations in areas like (the more the better)
o Statistical analysis is a MUST
o Machine learning for classification, regression and unsupervised tasks is a MUST (actual experience required). Reinforcement learning is a plus
o Time series analysis is a plus
o GenAI experience is a plus
o Natural language processing is a plus
o Graph analysis is a plus
o Optimization is a plus
o Signal and/or image processing is a plus
1. Programming experience:
* Excellent programming skills and experience developing production-quality software.
* Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark is a MUST (at least, two of them)
* Real experience in designing and implementing analytical solutions with different programming libraries is a MUST
* Knowledge of visualization tools and libraries is a plus
* Experience with deep learning frameworks is a plus
* Strong business sense to put data in perspective, and extract meaningful conclusions
* Ability to translate academic results from scientific papers into actionable solutions
* Experience and knowledge of the financial industry is a plus
* Natural inclination for sharing findings and engaging in problem-solving with teammates, helping them with their challenges, and asking for their help when needed
* Advanced level of English and Spanish
* 5+ years of professional experience (data scientist, business intelligence, consulting...)
Preferred Qualifications
* MSc/ PhD in a relevant field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Math, or other related subject
* Working knowledge of the financial industry products/services and operations is a plus
* Proficiency in Spanish and English is a MUST
