Global Logistics & Network Services (GLNS), part of Pfizer Global Supply Chain (GSC), is responsible for end-to-end orchestration of physical and financial (logistics) flows. GLNS Organisation ensures the Pfizer shipments are executed in an agile, cost efficient and compliant manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Manager Logistics Digital Governance Lead is accountable for driving the internal portfolio of GLNS digital requests both from a tactical and strategic point of view. The incumbent will be fully accountable for GLNS digital budget submission as well as prioritisation funnel from a funding and resourcing standpoint. The incumbent will also drive GLNS digital transformation in close collaboration and full alignment with GLNS strategic business priorities.

The incumbent will ensure Pfizer Global Logistics & Network Services organisation stays ahead of the curve in terms of futuristic logistics systems trends. The incumbent will report to Director, Global Logistics & Network Services -Digital & Capabilities Lead.

GLNS Digital Funnel & Governance

1. The incumbent will be accountable to collect, triage and govern the list of digital & analytical requests submitted by GLNS business users
2. The incumbent will use a data driven objective approach to understand the value (cost, Quality/compliance, sustainability & Service) driven by each request to assign a degree of prioritization for funding and resource allocation
3. This activity requires close collaboration with GLNS business users, GLNS analytics team and Digital teams.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

GLNS Digital Budget lifecycle management

4. The incumbent will be accountable to develop the GLNS proposal for annual digital budget submission, as well as develop and maintain mechanism for tracking actuals
5. The incumbent will also support quarterly Latest Estimate discussions for GLNS digital budget. This activity requires close collaboration with Finance and Digital teams.

GLNS Digital Strategy & Transformation

6. The incumbent will be accountable to develop and maintain the GLNS digital strategy and facilitate bi-annual review with business and digital leadership. The objective would be to have the most up to date version (rolling 18-24 months) at any point in time to share with internal and external stakeholders.
7. The GLNS digital strategy should be a combination of internal “must not fail” business priorities as well as industry benchmarked best in class recommendations to unleash advanced capabilities (ex. Use of AI/ Machine Learning etc.) in alignment with GSC Nex-Gen transformation.

External engagement & Innovation

8. The incumbent will follow up on industry trends & best practices on system, data and analytics, network externally and leverage external provider/ consultant inputs to feed our strategy and provide thought leadership.
9. The incumbent will be accountable to develop use cases, prototypes, and proof of concept for system innovation within GLNS.
10. The incumbent will also support business case creation, quantifying strong value proposition to secure digital funding and resources.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

11. Business priorities well understood and captured, working closely with GLNS T4/T3 leadership
12. Strong business narratives and business case development for securing digital funding
13. Full understanding and tracking of our budget, actuals and LE for digital funding
14. Strong external networking, scouting, design and deployment of innovative capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

Level of Education:

15. Educated to degree level. Preferably a degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology.

Experience:

16. 8+ years of experience within business/ IT consulting field and/or Logistics core function with good understanding of supply chain systems & processes
17. Direct or indirect people management experience
18. Project management / Change management experience through major organisational and/ or process transformation program
19. Ability to work with multiple levels in the organisation and across geographies in projects and virtual teams
20. Experience within Pharmaceuticals supply chain is nice to have.
21. Innovation coach or similar experiences

Languages:

22. English

Computer Skills:

23. Preferred: SAP S4 HANA, SAP TM & Bn4L, SAP ISC, SAP Analytics Cloud, ITV tools, Logistics Risk Management platforms, Tableau
24. Nice to Have: Machine Learning, Natural Language processing, SQL, Python, and Cloud Data Platforms
