We are a global manufacturer of heat transfer products and services, specializing in resource-saving evaporative cooling equipment that conserves water and energy. BAC Europe distributes its products across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
To strengthen our Iberica team, we're recruiting a General Manager .
Responsibilities Lead, motivate and support the BAC direct sales and independent sales representatives in the region to achieve allocated sales targets and satisfy customer requirements.
Execute business development strategies and plans for growth according to local requirements; develop annual forecasts for defined territories by analyzing historical sales and profit results and negotiating new objectives for individual salespeople.
Analyze, evaluate and monitor the technical and contractual terms of all projects.
Manage all office-related activities for the local office, as it is a small, local operation.
Qualifications Master's degree in engineering (or equivalent) with a proven track record of industrial sales experience within an international manufacturing industry and several years of sales management experience.
Strong people management skills; financial knowledge and business acumen to understand financial ratios and data for the region.
Customer-oriented with excellent listening, communication, presentation and training skills; capable of captivating and convincing an audience.
High level of sales and negotiation skills; motivated by achieving challenging goals.
Ability and interest in understanding the market and performing competitor analyses.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Willingness to travel frequently.
