Customer quality engineer

Are you enthusiastic about becoming a highly skilled quality engineer? If so, this position may pique your interest. As a Quality Engineer in the automotive sector, you will be responsible for developing a plan and implementing a systematic approach to ensure that all defined automotive standards, practices, procedures and methods are adhered to by management. Job Description Receives and channels complaints regarding customer quality, either through customer portals or the Company's own formats. Analyses incidents and quantifies defectiveness, applying the appropriate corrective and preventive actions to close them. Must know the techniques of product planning and development, as well as the use of the working tools of the automotive sector (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, 5 Why, 5S, 8D, etc.), including knowledge and proven application of Statistical Techniques (6 sigma). Systematically accesses and supervises customer portals to verify the overall customer's assessment of the company, communicating these assessments to the rest of the organisationto jointly identify causes for improvement points or corrective actions in the event of deviations in the evaluation according to customer standards the assessment according to customer standards. Necessary availability to travel and stay for short periods of time at our clients. The Successful Applicant Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 5 years minimum experience in the automotive sector, in quality engineering on Customer Quality functions Must be fluent in the English or French. Demonstrated successful experience in leading and managing individuals and teams is required. Hands-on experience of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS, continuous flow, cellular etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation Strong knowledge of production processes, assembly techniques, and quality control principles. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through.
