Join us as an EHS Site Lead at Siemens Energy Spain, where you will be at the forefront of promoting Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards across various sites. Imagine being a visible leader on-site, embedding EHS culture and engaging directly with operational teams. You will collaborate closely with teams to ensure our Integrated Management System aligns with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards while meeting customer expectations and applicable legislation. In this dynamic role, you will define and implement the EHS plan for on-site applications and regional activities, primarily focusing on Gas Services in Spain. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting EHS objectives and driving a proactive Safety Culture from within the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
10. You will act as a visible and proactive presence on-site, leading by example and embedding a strong EHS culture.
11. You will build trust and strong relationships with the Field Service (FS) team, ensuring integration and acceptance as a core team member.
12. You will take responsibility for workplace safety, conducting risk assessments and promoting health initiatives to enhance EHS standards.
13. You will provide site training, coaching, and mentoring in EHS systems and processes to raise EHS awareness and skills.
14. You will plan and conduct EHS engagements, inspections, assessments, audits, and reviews, presenting site EHS performance data to internal and external stakeholders.
15. You will demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, influencing, coaching, and fostering a collaborative environment on-site.
What You Bring
16. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Risk Prevention (three specialties: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Applied Psychology), with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
17. Proven experience in EHS roles, ideally in the energy sector, with strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards and auditor certification.
18. A solid understanding of EHS legislation, environmental awareness, and international standards, with the ability to stay current and ensure compliance across diverse environments.
19. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and respected presence on-site. You can lead from the front, embed a proactive EHS culture, and build strong relationships with all stakeholders, especially the FS team.
20. Experience in incident investigation and risk management, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures. You possess critical and structured problem-solving skills.
21. Fluency in English (German is a plus), with a valid driving license.
22. You are willing and able to travel both domestically within Spain and internationally as required.
