It is a multicultural, dynamic, and fast-learning environment. Role Overview The Digital Solutions Consultant will act as the bridge between commercial strategy and technology enablement. He should understand Globalpraxis’ commercial recommendations and identify, assess, and implement best-in-class digital solutions that enable those strategies. These goals should be achieved with the guidance & direction of our group of technology experts. This role requires a strong mix of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and technical understanding to translate business needs into scalable, efficient digital solutions. Acting as a bridge between commercial and technical teams, the consultant helps clients move from strategy to execution through smart, pragmatic digital tools. Sitting at the intersection of business priorities and technology enablement, this role ensures that every solution not only delivers against the business case but also drives adoption and lasting impact by addressing the pain points that matter most to users. Responsibilities Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements. Act as a trusted advisor for IT stakeholders, but also in the commercial side. Apply a strategic and “out of the box” mindset to challenge long-established practices when needed, ensuring every recommendation is guided by ROI and business impact considerations. Digital Solution Identification: Capture business requirements and identify “best in class” digital solutions within the FMCG industry. Analyze alternative solutions, comparing pros and cons, scalability, and alignment with client capabilities. Think ‘big picture’ and envision each digital solution as a piece of a larger jigsaw. Technical Specifications & process reengineering: Map business processes in the client. Redesign them if necessary to make them more efficient and ensuring full alignment with technology. Describe and document technical requirements necessary to deliver solutions. Work with client IT teams to ensure technical feasibility, integration, and alignment. Solution Selection Guidance: Support clients in defining Requests for Proposals (RFPs), launching tenders, and selecting the ideal solution. Assess vendors objectively based on functionality, cost, scalability, and fit with strategy. Project Management: Coordinate with consulting project managers to ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to project timelines. Collaborate with vendors and client teams during implementation to ensure alignment between business requirements and delivered functionalities. Design and promote a phased implementation roadmap that bridges the gap between the current and target digital ecosystem, ensuring progressive value capture aligned with the business case. Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing process to ensure solutions meet functional requirements together with the client’s teams and key users. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on digital trends and technologies in the FMCG ecosystem. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance commercial processes through digital enablers. Keep data as a watermark in all designs to ensure interoperability within the client Information System, secure data quality, enable new value-added data-based assisted decision and artificial intelligence and, overall, put the client on tracks to further take advantage of its data in mid/long term. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or MBA highly preferred. Experience: 3-5 years in digital transformation or commercial enablement roles, ideally within FMCG companies. Startup / Scale-up experience would be a bonus on top of larger / blue-chip companies. Technical expertise: Hands-on experience with SFA/CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot, Customertimes, etc.). Good general Information System culture understanding key principles of relational databases, authentication/ security, APIs, ETL, data lake / warehouse, data visualization etc. Understanding of configuration and customization processes. Experience managing RFPs, vendor assessments, and implementation phases. Commercial mindset: Strong understanding of sales processes, trade structures, and route-to-market models. Entrepreneur mindset, able to consider the business as a whole, accept to step-out of initial job-description whenever it serves the client and our mission alongside them. Bridge capabilities: Proven ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and IT stakeholders. Analytical & strategic thinking: Ability to compare alternative tools and architectures to select the most efficient one. Ability to question and challenge the uses while gathering requirements. Ability to identify what matters most to keep a strong focus on delivering the expected outcomes. Methodologies: Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus. Soft skills: independency, proactivity, problem-solving attitude, adaptability, and ability to work in multicultural teams. Ability to act and defend your recommendations during meetings with clients. Mobility: Willingness to travel when required.
