Description - Summary

The role of the Sr. Director of EMEA Total Rewards works within the global Total Rewards leadership team and is responsible for developing a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy for the EMEA region. This role also includes leading the global compensation support associated with Mergers and Acquisitions.

The role supports the alignment of employee rewards with results that support the company’s strategic direction and business outcomes, promoting a philosophy that advances HP's objectives and aligns with our culture. The Total Rewards (TR) programs include all aspects of broad-based compensation, supplemental pay, benefits (e.g., retirement, health and insurance, wellness, time-off), and perquisites.

Successful execution of the role is through collaboration with peers on the global TR Leadership team and through stakeholders and partners at EMEA region and global level. The role is responsible to oversee and lead the team responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of all benefits programs supporting the employee lifecycle from hire to termination, including the assessment and management of compensation and benefit change requests. The role also includes due diligence of compensation programs, benchmarking, job leveling evaluation, and implementation of compensation programs for mergers, divestitures, or acquisitions globally.


Key Responsibilities

* Build and sustain collaborative relationships at multiple levels in the company;
* Work in close partnership with multiple stakeholders to implement best-in-class compensation and benefit programs across EMEA;
* Understand current and emerging market trends, identify potential opportunities and gaps, leverage external best practices, and design TR initiatives aligned with global principles with local customization;
* Design, communicate, and implement benefit programs in the region that fit within the overall global strategy;
* Ensure all compensation and benefit program proposals are balanced for affordability and competitiveness, aligned with business objectives, and meet legal requirements;
* Support the annual review of benefit and supplemental pay programs and implement benefit change requests, benefits enrollment, and wellness initiatives;
* Support benchmarking and development/review of country salary structures for market competitiveness;
* Manage and negotiate with brokers and third-party providers;
* Lead compensation strategy with global and regional programs;
* Provide expertise on country compensation issues, evaluation of new positions, salary structures, and inflation concerns;
* Ensure engagement and oversight of collective bargaining negotiations and maintain collaborative relationships;
* Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and outsourcing activities related to TR programs;
* Build trust through effective communication and stakeholder engagement;
* Develop and implement communication strategies for change management;
* Build team capability through training and development, fostering a culture of wellness and recognition;
* Lead global compensation due diligence and transition strategies for M&A activities, including job grading, costs, talent retention, and compliance actions.


Requirements

* Seasoned leader in Compensation and Benefits with expertise in strategy, design, and delivery of Total Rewards functions;
* Experience in M&A and regional knowledge of EMEA laws and compliance;
* Strong business acumen, market insight, and ability to identify growth opportunities;
* Technical expertise in job architecture, job leveling, base pay, variable pay, and equity;
* Ability to set a vision, communicate effectively, and develop strategic goals;
* Results-driven with accountability and prioritization skills;
* Collaborative leadership style with emotional intelligence, trust-building, and talent development focus;
* Experience in cross-organizational collaboration and driving change initiatives.
