At Tolsa Spain, we're looking for a Health & Safety Specialist with a clear mission:
Develop and implement all activities aligned with Tolsa's Health & Safety guidelines in Spain.
This role is key to ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant workplaces while strengthening our preventive culture across all operations.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of the H&S management system and programs at site level.
Manage H&S instructions, audits, preventive action plans, and corrective measures.
Ensure full compliance with legal requirements: risk assessments, emergency plans, H&S training, drills, inspections, etc.
Lead and support internal and external audits in coordination with consultants and the medical service.
Conduct regular plant visits to identify improvement opportunities, potential hazards, and compliance gaps.
Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns, training, communication, and engagement initiatives.
Analyse H&S KPIs and prepare regular performance reports with improvement proposals.
Develop accident‐reduction programs and perform RCA investigations when incidents occur.
Conduct specific risk assessments (ergonomics, HAZOP, industrial safety, chemical risks...).
Oversee contractor activities and validate their risk assessments to ensure safe performance.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Health & Safety / PRL – mandatory.
Engineering degree preferred; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Sciences (Chemistry, Physics...).
Training in Environmental and Quality Systems is highly valuable.
Knowledge as an internal auditor is a plus.
5+ years of experience in H&S departments within industrial environments.
Proven experience with Integrated Management Systems and audits.
Experience in mineral or extractive industries is highly valued.
