Job Summary: The Distributor Regional Sales Manager (DSM) manages and leads the Distributor Network in the EMEA region. The focus is on partnering with distributors and key accounts to increase sales of NanoString instruments and consumables. The role involves developing business plans for each market to meet or exceed sales targets, working closely with the Life Sciences team, and reporting to the Vice President of Life Science Sales EMEA.
Qualifications: - BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related; MS preferred - Familiarity with gene expression technologies (qPCR, microarray, NGS, cellular imaging) - 10+ years of Account Management experience - 2+ years managing distributor networks - Ability to travel 75% across Europe - Strong administrative, communication, time management, and organizational skills - Fluency in English - Location: Remote, near a major international airport
Job Accountabilities: - Partner with distributors to cultivate new business and grow current business - Develop business plans with distributors to maximize product penetration - Support European medical events - Employ strategic selling techniques - Drive instrument placement and consumable revenue - Manage key accounts and projects - Collaborate with technical support and FAS teams - Maintain detailed CRM records and forecast sales effectively
